For a change I didn’t do an internship in a company, but I managed to extend my project work in the laboratory for measurement techniques into a master thesis.

My professor developed a method for measuring glucose with polarized light that also works in scattering medium. My work in the project was to build the measurement setup and in the master thesis I then went and found ways to improve it.

In the end this work was very relaxing, fulfilling and I enjoyed it a lot. I was even offered to apply for a PhD to continue my work, but I felt I needed to work outside of a laboratory.
